Naoma Corriene Clary's Obituary
Naoma Corriene Clary, 79, of Spotsylvania County passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.
Naoma was very intelligent, skipping two grades in school. After her retirement from C & P Telephone, she enjoyed being a homemaker for her family, spending more time with her true loves, her grandchildren; and still making time to be a foster parent for foster children.
She was a faithful member of Mine Road Baptist Church, where she was involved in many church committees.
Naoma is survived by her daughter, Tracy Meadows and her husband, Stephen of Georgia; son, Tim Aponte of Spotsylvania; stepson, Travis Clary of Maryland; brother, Hobert Forren and his wife, Pauline of West Virginia; four grandchildren, Timmy, Michael, Jessi, and Russell; nine great-grandchildren, Aaron, Mason, Virginia, Michael, Skylar, Gabe, Tyson, Cooper, and Augusta; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Horace L. Clary; and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Mine Road Baptist Church, 11111 Post Oak Road, Spotsylvania, VA 22551.
In lieu of flowers, Naoma’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Mine Road Baptist Church, P.O. Box 2332, Spotsylvania, VA 22553-6809.
