Nancy J. Johnson's Obituary
Nancy J. Johnson 83, of Rixeyville passed away on Wednesday June 3, 2009 at her residence. She went home to be with her Lord. She was born December 14, 1925 in Paris, Va. to the late Hattie and Herbert Wright.
She was a wonderful Mother, Sister and Grandmother. Nancy loved all her family deeply, also enjoyed going to yard sales.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Johnson, Sr., a daughter Judy Ann, her siblings Herbert, Charles and Calvin Wright, Dorothy Fewell, Rosa Johnson and sister in law Kathleen Wright.
She is survived by her son Clarence Johnson, Jr. and his wife Cindy of Haymarket, a daughter Nancy Shoemaker of Rixeyville, four grandchildren Teresa Martin and her husband William of Culpeper, Cathy Hale and her husband Dale of Reva, Clarence Shoemaker and his wife Shelia of Madison and Clarence Johnson, III of Culpeper, two great grandsons Steven Hale and Tre Martin.
Additional survivors include two brothers Henry Wright and his wife Pauline of Stephenson, Thurston Wright and his wife Mary of White Post.
Two sisters in law Kathleen Wright of Winchester, Louise Wright of Paris , brother in law James Fewell of Winchester and a very good friend Sandy Woodard of Rixeyville, a great number of nieces and nephews and many good friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 4, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA
A service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Chapel
