Nancy Sapp's Obituary
Nancy C. Ana Sapp, 61 of Manassas died Friday, July 11, 2008 at Prince William Hospital.
Ana was the founder of (F.A.U.N.A.) Friends of Animals United in Nature Association. She worked for the Fairfax Public Access Channel 10 where she produced shows including: Do You Wanna Dance and Da Nooz. She was a LPN and a volunteer for the Prince William County Park Service where In 1980 she received the volunteer of the year award for her work at the Prince William Forest Park.
She is survived by her husband Richard; a son, Nick Sapp and wife Lisa of Florida; two daughters, Katii Sapp-Lessick and her husband Matt of Midlothian, Robin Phillips of Manassas; two brothers, Bill Box and his wife Shirlene of Idaho, Eddie Ellermier of Idaho and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 15, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Rd., Manassas. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Bull Run Unitarian Universalist Church, 9350 Main St., Manassas with Sister Bridget Mary Meehan officiating. Inurnment will be private at a later date.
