Myrtle Utz Myers' Obituary
Myrtle Utz Myers, 73, of Culpeper died Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 13, 1933 in Madison, VA to the late Edwin and Ethel Garr Utz.
Mrs. Myers was a member of the Culpeper United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being a wife and mother but especially took great pride in being a grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of fifty four years, Charles E. Myers, her children, Gwen Myers Will and her husband, Stephen of Boston, VA, and Teresa Myers Jorgensen and her husband, Eric of Atlanta, GA, five grandchildren, Heather M. Will and her husband, Scott Beman of Charleston, SC, S. Preston Will, Rachel A. Jorgensen, Samuel P. Jorgensen, and Katherine M. Jorgensen, all of Atlanta.
Additional survivors include three sisters, Arlene Wood, Pat Utz, and Shirley Pritt, all of Culpeper.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, and one brother.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 19, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper VA 22701.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Culpeper National Cemetery (New) with Rev. Randy Orndorff officiating.
