Myrtle “Tom” Perryman Miller
Myrtle “Tom” Perryman Miller, 93, of Batna, VA died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Culpeper, VA on April 5, 1917 to the late John “Bub” W. Perryman and Myrtle “Mirt” Bailey Perryman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Alfred Miller, her son, Lloyd Alfred Miller, Jr., her grandson, Ricky Turner, her sister, Lucy Perryman Laird and three brothers, John, George and Charles Perryman.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty M. Turner and her husband, Donald of Thonotossassa, FL, Carolyn M. Smith and her husband, Bobby of Culpeper, six sons, Thomas Wayne Miller and his wife, Lynn of Brightwood, David Lee Miller and his wife, Gayle of Culpeper, George “Billy” Miller of Batna, Daniel Edgar Miller and his wife, Marie of Lignum, John Dale Miller of Batna, and Charles Alfred Miller and his wife, Elizabeth of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include her granddaughters, Cindy Taylor and her husband, Bill of Thonotossassa, FL, Lisa G. Miller of Culpeper, Pat Wright and her husband, Allen of Culpeper, Kathy Taylor and her husband, W.T. of New Canton, VA, Shelly Davenport and her husband, Wade of Culpeper, Donna Moore and her husband, David of Tampa, FL, and Nicole, Clara and Michelle Miller of Culpeper, her grandsons, Tony Miller of Culpeper, Thomas Miller, Jr. and his wife, Katrina of Brightwood, Jeff Smith of Culpeper, Michael Miller of Brandy Station, and D.J. Miller of Lignum, her great granddaughters, Krystal and Christi Taylor of Thonotossassa, FL, Harley Moore of Tampa, FL, Ashley and Kayla Miller, Sydney Compton of Culpeper, and Danielle Taylor of New Canton, VA, Mackenzie Miller of Brightwood and Taya Smith of WV, her great grandsons, Chris, Joey and Lee Taylor of Thonotossassa, FL, Stephen Moore of Tampa, FL, Miguel Ortiz-Rodriguez of Culpeper, Thomas Wright of Culpeper, Austin Compton of Culpeper, Aspen Davenport of Culpeper and Brady Miller of Brightwood, and one great great granddaughter, Sabrina Taylor of Thonotossassa, FL, two sisters, Laura Brown and Maude Taylor, both of Culpeper, and her brother, Edd Perryman of Culpeper.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 2, 2010 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Stevensburg Baptist Church with Rev. Philip Walker officiating.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery.
