Myron Carson's Obituary
Myron Carson of Fredericksburg, Virginia died May 20,2024. He was born October 4, 1940 in Highland, Ohio to Florence (Donohoo) and Howard Carson. He graduated from Xenia High School in Xenia, Ohio in 1958 and from Bowling Green State University in 1962 with a degree in education. He received his Masters in education from Utah State University in 1969.
Myron was a dedicated educator his whole life. He touched many lives as a science teacher, assistant principal and a basketball coach at various schools in Ohio. He was the Principal of Philo High School in Philo, Ohio from 1980 to his retirement.
Myron was an avid traveler taking his family camping at national parks all around the US. When he retired, he and his wife Golda, embarked on many adventures spanning all seven continents. Yes, they made it to Antarctica!
He is survived by his dear wife, Golda (Baylis) Carson of 63 years; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Carson and Dan Letendre of New Town, Pennsylvania; and son and daughter-in-law, Dale Carson and Beth Knickerbocker of Alexandria, VA.
A celebration of life will be held in Alexandria Virginia.
