Myra Martin's Obituary
Myra Martin, 90, of Surfside Beach, SC passed away Friday, September 20, 2024 at her residence. She was born May 28, 1934 to the late Alfred Dewey and Nora Padgett in Edgefield, SC.
Myra is survived by her son, Myron “Pat” Padgett Hendrix; grandchildren, Robert James Hendrix, Sarah Nicole Hendrix, Taylor Anne Hendrix, and Parker Lane Hendrix; great grandchildren, Robert Hendrix, Jr. and McKenna Hendrix; brothers, Louis Padgett and Frank Padgett; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Myra is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Martin; son, James Frederick Hendrix, Jr.; and her brother, Dewey Padgett, Jr.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 E. Chandler Street, Culpeper, VA 22701.
