Murlie Pates, Jr.'s Obituary
Murlie Golden Pates, Jr., 70, of Fredericksburg died Thursday, April 26, 2007 at his home.
He was born in Virginia to the late Pearl and Murlie Pates, Sr. He retired after a long career at G & H Manufacturing.
Murlie is survived by five sisters, Evelyn Cox and Murlene Monteith, both of Fredericksburg, Norma Dobson of King George, Beverly Hatch and Winnie Williams, both of Spotsylvania County; a brother, John Pates of Fredericksburg and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Audrey and a sister, Ruth Pates.
A graveside service will be held Monday, April 30, 2007 at 2:00 pm
in Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Curry officiating.
