Darrell and I were very sad to hear of the passing of Morris. He was a kind and humble man. We will miss seeing him when he visited his family near us and he always had time to stop and talk to my husband or myself. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family!

We are grateful for the memory of one who first greeted us at the door of Culpeper Baptist Church, ushered us to the JOY Sunday School class, worshipped with us for years, brought us turnips from his garden and talked with us for hours with stories from his illustrious past, and of his loving wife, Carryl. My home-baked cake and Reuben sandwiches were his delight. A big man in statue, a big heart for mankind, he will be sorely missed as a man of God in our neighborhood and Culpeper community. May his wife and family find God their real source of comfort in their grief and in the years ahead.

I am so very sorry to learn of Mr. Peters passing. He was a gentile man who really liked to tell his stories. I never met the gentleman until he stopped by my home for a yard sale and we started talking. He seemed to be a gentle giant with a big heart. So very sorry for the loss to the family. May you be comforted at this time.
