Edmundo Guillemin Morales, MD, 88, of Manassas, Virginia passed from this world on November 17, 2008. Edmundo’s Mexican songs, guitar playing, billiards fun and passion for playing golf will be missed by his family, friends and fellow residents of The Oaks of Wellington. His many years as a family doctor and emergency medicine physician in the Washington area reflected his compassion for others and his keen interest in science. Balancing this was his life long love of the arts: music and painting. Above all interests was his commitment to and love of his family.
He was preceded in death by his devoted mother, Angela Strub, his father, Adolfo Morales, loving brothers, Carlos Morales and Miguel Strub and sister, Licette Strub, nephew, Julio Morales, and his beloved wife of 59 years, Irene Morales. He is survived by his 5 cherished children, daughters Susan & Tony Kosinec of Toronto, Canada, Linda & Rocky Burton of Riner, Virginia, Carole Morales of Springfield, Virginia, Elena & Bill Pickford of Springfield, Virginia, and his son Paul & Tammy Morales of Crofton, Maryland; his beloved 4 grandchildren, Sarah & Joel Pickford and Matthew & Hannah Morales. He will also be missed by his nephews Carlos, Roberto, and Manuel along with numerous other family members. Inurnment services will be on Saturday, Nov.22 at 2:00 at Fairfax Memorial Park located at 9900 Braddock Rd.,Fairfax,VA 22032.
