Milton "Earl" Jarrell's Obituary
Milton “Earl” Jarrell, 85, of Culpeper passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Our Father’s House Christian Home. He was born May 19, 1934 in Stanardsville, VA to the late John and Lillian Bertha Leigh Jarrell.
Mr. Jarrell was a veteran of the US Airforce and served during the Korean Conflict. He later retired from the military after 20 plus years. After his military retirement, he had a second career for over 20 years at the Farmer’s Coop. Mr. Jarrell was baptized at Shiloh Baptist Church in Kinderhook, VA.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Bettie Jarrell; two daughters, Theresa Lassell of Colonial Heights, VA, and Vicki Menefee of Culpeper; two stepchildren, Patricia Troilo (Tony) of Brandy Station, VA, and Larry Bickers (Carmen) of CA; and one sister, Norma Lee Shifflett (Milford) of Stanardsville, VA.
Additional survivors include twelve grandchildren, Dena Pelter (Keith) of Gilbert, AZ, Tabitha O’Neill of Fredericksburg, Devon and Travis Woodward of Culpeper, VA, Alex Lassell of Dinwiddy, VA, Nicky Keller (Mark) of Richmond, Angeline Troilo of Richmond, Jennifer Branson (Bret) of CA, Joseph “Peppe” Troilo (Raven) of Culpeper, VA, Caitlin Waddell (Duck) of Brandy Station, VA, Paul Nishimoto (Heidi) of CA, and Yoko Reyonalds (John) of CA; and seventeen great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Woodward; and one sister, Marie Roudabush.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor David Blevins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Inurnment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery with military honors provided by the US Air Force.
