Mildred Thomas Hawkins' Obituary
Mildred Thomas Hawkins, 85, of Culpeper died Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. She was born on February 13, 1922 in Slate Mills, VA to the late Thomas William McFarland and Cora Lee Burke McFarland.
Mrs. Hawkins was a member of Five Forks Regular Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sister, Delsie P. McFarland Hawkins of Culpeper, a step-daughter, Bessie Norman of Woodville and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Milton M. Hawkins and three brothers, Daniel Lee, James William and Thomas Albert McFarland.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 15, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701 with Rev. Roger Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be George Hawkins, Larry Hawkins, Randy Rudd, Billy Mills, Mike Mills, Curtis Hawkins, and Dennis Horton.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Hawkins name to a charity of choice.
