Mildred Marie Cammack's Obituary
Mildred Marie Cammack of Kingwood, Texas died of complications associated with cancer on April 28, 2007 at the age of 81.She was the daughter of Vaino and Ester Perttunen of Astoria, Oregon and was a first generation Finnish American.
Mrs. Cammack had a long and distinguished career on Capitol Hill working for Congressman Arch Moore of West Virginia and Senator Robert Packwood of Oregon. She retired in 1987 to enjoy her passion for travel, her love for family and later relocating to Texas in 1999 to participate in raising her great grandchildren. She was also a long-time, avid and loyal Washington Redskin fan.
She is survived by her daughter Jackie and her husband Chip Chipman of Kingwood, Tx ; son Brian van de Graaff and his wife Barbara of Arcadia, Fl; son David van de Graaff and his wife Christy of Wachapreague, Va; She had 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Additional survivors include two stepdaughters Patricia and her husband Bob Robertson of Edina, Minn and Barbara and her husband Tony Warner of Potomac, Md; five step grandchildren and eleven step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike Culpeper Va. on Saturday May 5 from 12-2 pm with a memorial service beginning at 2 PM.
