Mildred Ellington Wehmas' Obituary
Mildred Ellington Wehmas, 93, of Richmond, died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Glen Burnie Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Richmond. She was born May 9, 1917 in Culpeper, Virginia to the late Edward and Carrie Vaughan Ellington.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wehmas is preceded in death by her first husband, Enoch Dodson, and her second husband, George Wehmas. She is also preceded in death by one son, Michael Dodson, a sister, Edith E. Green, and two brothers, Edward Maurice and William Marshall Ellington.
She is survived by one son, James E. Dodson and his wife, Geraldine, of Richmond, and two grandchildren, Teresa Dodson of Richmond and Michelle Lee of Texas. She is also survived by one great-grandson, Gavin Lee of Texas.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday May 20, 2010 at 1 pm in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Sandy Martin officiating.
