Mildred K. Jenkins' Obituary
Mildred K. Jenkins, 82, of Culpeper went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 21, 1933 in Rappahannock to the late Willie and Mattie Wharton Butler.
She is survived by her four sons, Larry Jenkins and his wife, Mary of Warrenton, Bernard Kyle “Moe” Jenkins and his wife, Susie of Fredericksburg, Mike Jenkins and his wife, Liz of Culpeper and David Jenkins and his fiancé, Brenda of Culpeper; six grandchildren, Melissa Jones and her husband, Kelvin, Justin Murray and his wife, Robyn, Eric Jenkins, Jamie Jenkins, Chassidy Wright and her husband, Andy, and James Jenkins; five great grandchildren, Akyshia and Kabren Jones, Aubrey, Abigail, and Blake Murray; six step grandchildren, Taylor Kennaugh, Ryan Kennaugh, Matthew Kennaugh, Matthew Miller, Amy Gil and her husband, Manny and Paul Cooper; and four great step grandchildren, Andrew Cooper, Zachary Cooper, Garrett Cooper and Mila Kennaugh.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James B. Jenkins; five siblings, Laura Compton, Dorothy Dowdy, Corrine Scott, Jane Jenkins and Butch Butler; and one step grandson, Steven Miller.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sandy Martin officiating.
Pallbearers will be Eric Jenkins, James Jenkins, Kabren Jones, Chip Utz, Terry Jenkins, and Kyle Scott.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
