Michael Allen Jenkins' Obituary
Michael Allen Jenkins, 42, of Culpeper, died Sunday, September 2, 2007. He was born on December 30, 1964 in Fauquier, VA to Marie Jenkins Dodson of Madison and the late Charles William Jenkins.
Michael was a outdoorsman who loved to fish and especially hunt. He was a hard worker and did so at his job with PM Transit and doing tree work. Most of all he was a family man who was a great father, son, brother and friend to all.
He is survived by his daughter, Christina Jenkins and her boyfriend, Michael McCawley of Culpeper, and his siblings, Mary Leake of Madison, Freddie Leake of South Carolina, Bucky Jenkins and his wife, Loretta of Madison, James Jenkins and his wife, Kim of Rappahannock, and Richard Jenkins and his wife, Mary of Madison.
Additional survivors include a special great niece, Jamie Lynn Leake and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a special nephew, Jonathan Leake, maternal grandparents, Henry and Gladys Jenkins, and paternal grandparents, Charlie Boot and Nettie Pearl Jenkins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 3 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Preacher Charles Shifflett officiating.
Interment will follow in the Jenkins Family Cemetery.
