Michael Lee Witt's Obituary
Michael Lee Witt, 47, passed away on October 15, 2018, in Richmond Virginia.
Michael was a beloved member of the community and a proud US Marine Corps veteran. As a quadriplegic, Michael was able to overcome a number of challenges throughout the past few years due to the help and kindness offered by many in the community. His own personal strength and determination were unequaled and allowed him to remain positive throughout his life. He was a kind man with a gentle soul who was deeply dedicated to his family, friends, and Marine Corps brothers. Michael will be greatly missed, but we take great solice in knowing he is with the Lord. His family would like to extend their gratitude to all family, friends and supporters who aided Michael in his time of need.
He leaves behind two daughters, McKayla and Alyssa Witt, a sister, Kelcie Witt and a niece, Brittany Hamrick.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Chancellor Baptist Church, 11324 Gordon Rd., Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made in his honor to a disabled veterans’ charity of your choice.
