Michael William Rodgers' Obituary
Michael William Rodgers,42, of Spotsylvania County passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 at his home.
Michael loved his family, being outdoors, working with his hands, repairing small engines, helping others, landscaping, and listening to country music (especially Luke Combs and George Jones).
Michael is survived by his mother, Audrey Rodgers; wife, Carla Rodgers; two children, Autumn Rios (Jose’) and Michaela Rodgers; granddaughter, Iris-Aliz Rios; two brothers, Leonard Rodgers (Debbie) and Kenneth Rodgers (Carri); sister, Patricia Price (John); grandmother, Catherine Rodgers; his dog, Whipsey; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other close family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Rodgers; and two uncles, Thomas Rodgers, and Charles “Frog” Rodgers.
Michael's family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2020 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
