Michael Thomas Reddington Sr.'s Obituary
Michael Thomas Reddington, Sr., 73, of Fredericksburg passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019, at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his family.
Michael’s family was the most important part of his life. He was an extremely loyal New York Jets and Yankees fan, always watching his teams play. Michael was an accomplished musician, playing several instruments and singing in a band.
He was a member of the US Army 101st Airborne Division and served his country proudly from 1967 – 1968, in Vietnam. After his military career, he received his associate’s degree in business management.
Michael is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 50 years, Gayle, whom he grew up and old with; son, Michael Reddington, Jr. and his wife, Krista of North Carolina; daughter, Elisabeth Palomares and her husband, Gilbert of Fredericksburg; brother, Frank Reddington and his wife, Barbara of Arizona; four grandchildren, Jordan, Joshua, and Jacob Palomares, and Ciara Reddington; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, at St. Jude Catholic Church. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
