Michael Warren Myers' Obituary
Michael Warren Myers, 68 of Elkwood passed on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Dogwood Village of Orange. He was born on December 25, 1950 in Fauquier county to the late Osey and Edna Taylor Myers.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Milam Ridge Hunting Club. He enjoyed watching his western’s. Mike was a huge Washington Redskin fan as well as a New York Yankees fan. He spent over 20 years dedicated to working for Myers Cable and then Fiber Technology in the early 2000’s. He retired in 2016 and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by two children Karen Myers and Sherri Settle (Stacey) ; three siblings, Sharon Fincham (Doug), Kevin Myers, and Phillip Myers (Elaine); four grandchildren Destine Windbush, Diamond Windbush, Marissa Quarles (Tevin), and Brian Jenkins; and one great grandchild, Tierney Quarles and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Myers; one grandson, Brandon Windbush; and one son-in-law, Jeff Windbush.
A graveside service will be held on December 20, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery with Reese Washington officiating.
