Michael William McGlaflin Sr.'s Obituary
Michael William McGlaflin, Sr. (“Mike”), 83, of Culpeper, Virginia, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026. Mike was born, September 7, 1942, in Northfield, Vermont, to the late James (“Bug”) Edward McGlaflin and Kathleen Murphy McGlaflin.
Mike is survived by his wife of 48 years, Wilda L. McGlaflin; children, Michael McGlaflin Jr (Brooklyn), Adam James McGlaflin, Greg Jon McGlaflin, and Tracie Michelle Eline (Kenny); grandchildren, Madison Lee Stevens (Adam), Samuel Garrett Stevens, Nomi Michael McGlaflin, and Max Elijah McGlaflin; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his older brother, Jimmy McGlaflin, and three sisters, Joanne Devney (Paul), Pauli Chapman (Chappy), Barbara Swanner (Ray).
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 12 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper.
Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 E. Chandler Street, Culpeper, VA with Military Honors provided by VFW Post 2524.
Pallbearers serving the family will be Michael McGlaflin, Junior, Adam McGlaflin, Greg McGlaflin, Samuel Stevens, Kenny Eline, and Adam Cundiff.
