Michael Joseph Hall's Obituary
Michael Joseph Hall, 30, of Spotsylvania, was reunited in heaven with his Lord on Monday, October 10, 2022. God took his hand and awarded him his Heavenly Home. He has no more struggles and God has removed all of his Earthly pain. Michael was born on August 5, 1992 in Fairfax, Va. to Hugh Edwin Hall III and Shelly Hall. His mother has always called him her “dolly” and he was his father’s hero. God blessed them with a loving and cherished son.
Michael was born on August 5, 1992 to Hugh Edwin Hall III and Shelly Hall, a blessing and joy of their life with his brother, Justin Hall. Michael’s greatest joy came from spending time with his son, Michael Joseph Hall, Jr. The bond between father and son was strong, unyielding and will be everlasting. Michael loved his family and friends more than anything else. He showed his love through his actions and his constant smile. He was always respectful, selfless, and would do anything for those he loved. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. Michael loved being outside, especially 4-wheeling. He had a deep belief in his Lord and held tight to his special Bible. Michael was an angel on Earth and proved it by his prayers, love, and blessings he gave us while he was here.
Michael is survived by his pride and joy, his son, Michael Joseph Hall, Jr.; his partner, Emily Jarvis; and her children that he adored, Ethan and Aiden. He was the cherished son of Hugh and Shelly Hall, brother of Justin Hall (Kayleigh), and grandson to his nana, Rosalie Acri. Michael is also survived by his uncles, Daniel Hall (Renee) and Jim Acri (Nadine); his aunts, Jo Cohen (Pat), Teresa Testa and Michelle Hall, his cousins, Gina, Brendan, Cheyenne, Austin, Kevin, Richard and Shelley, two longtime friends, Tyler William and Joe Morris, his faithful companions, Dixie Mae and Leo Boy and numerous other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Hugh Edwin Hall, Jr., and Doris Hall; his maternal grandfather, Michael Joseph Acri, and a beloved uncle, David Hall.
Michael was a simple man. If you knew Michael, you’d know he wore his old boots everywhere with a t-shirt, hoodie and almost always, a ball cap. In his honor, the family requests that you come to his services in the same manner. In honor of his favorite football team, folks may also wear blue and white - Cowboys colors.
Michael’s family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Rd., Fredericksburg. A funeral service will take place at 10 am on Saturday, October 22, 2022 in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery, 9021 Lawyers Rd., Spotsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the trust fund to help care for his son via https://www.gofundme.com/f/michael-joseph-halls-funeral-service?utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer
