Michael Wayne Frazier's Obituary
Michael Wayne Frazier, 48, of Boston, VA, went to be with his Lord and Saviour, on Friday, October 4, 2024, at University Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. He was born on August 15, 1976, in Culpeper, VA, to Frank Ray, Jr. and Phyliss Frazier.
Michael was a kind soul with a heart of gold. If he knew you needed something, he would find a way to help. He was a hard worker, and over the years has followed in his Dad’s footsteps as a jack of all trades, from being a tractor-trailer driver for many years, pushing snow for VDOT, a logger, and a farmer. He enjoyed going to tractor pulls and being with friends. He had a love for all genres of music.
He is survived by his mother, Phyliss; sister, Michele Williams (Stan); brother, Christopher Frazier (Ashley); niece, VenissaLyn Foster (Jesse) and great niece; a special aunt, Linda Weakley (Gary Meadows); and many more aunts, uncles, and cousins. Special friends left behind are Jim, Jerry, and Venus.
He was preceded in death by his father Frank Ray, Jr.; grandparents, Frank Ray, Sr. and Lizzie Frazier; Marvin “Smiley” and Eunice Meade, and Roy Frazier.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, with Jeff Peyton and Reverend Daniel Griffin officiating.
Interment will follow immediately at Sperryville Cemetery, Sperryville, VA. Pallbearers will be Christopher Frazier, Stan Williams, Gary Meadows, James Frazier, Joseph Peregory, Jerry Settle, Jim Acker, and Dwayne Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be George Ellis, Ed Baker, Paul Waslyn, Jamie Wright, Ronnie “Hollywood” Roby, and Dale Wright.
Everyone is invited to join the family after the service at Pepper’s Grill, 791 Madison Rd., Culpeper, VA.
