Michael Ray Blevins' Obituary
Michael Ray Blevins, 65, left this world on March 2, 2023.
Mike was kind, thoughtful, and helpful to anyone who was fortunate enough to know him. He was extremely intelligent and would fix absolutely anything for anyone. Mike was also a phenomenal guitarist and his passion was progressive rock. He cared deeply for any creature on the planet.
Michael is survived by his uncles, Richard Cox of Fallston, MD, Thomas Cox and Wayne Cox (Rhonda) of King George; his aunts, Bonnie Reynolds of Colonial Beach and Gloria Cox of King George; and numerous cousins,. He is also survived by his closest friends, Gregg and Michelle Woolf of Falmouth; along with their children, Rachel Monk (Ricky), and Christopher Woolf; and granddaughters, Alice and Rosie Monk.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie Ann and Leonard Lake Blevins.
Mike’s family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Gary Limbrick officiating. Burial will be at noon in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Michael had a strong love for animals and therefore, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA or Humane Society.
