Michael Perry Anderson's Obituary
Michael Perry Anderson, 64, of Stafford, VA, died on December 31, 2018 after a courageous journey with cancer.
Mike was born in Mobile, AL on February 8, 1954 to Robert P. and Roberta T. Anderson. The family moved to Alexandria, VA in 1962; then to Rappahannock County in 1968. He graduated from Rappahannock County High School and attended the Virginia Military Institute (VMI). Mike enjoyed his many activities to include, rebuilding car engines, boating, flying and helping out on the family farm. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Ruth F. Anderson; his wonderful children, Kirk of Glen Mills, PA, Joanna of Hampton Bays, NY, and Scott Anderson (Renee) of Conway, SC; stepson, Nickolas Turriff of Conway, SC; his sister, Dr. Jennifer L. Anderson of Columbus, OH; granddaughter, Ryder of Conway, SC; as well as many other relatives residing in Mobile, AL.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Cemetery, Woodville, VA with Scott Lisech officiating.
