Melvin Gene Lowry's Obituary
Melvin Gene Lowry, 81, passed away on March, 18th 2023, at the Culpeper Health and Rehab Center surrounded by loved ones.
Melvin was loved by many and a friend to all. He spent most of his time traveling for work, hanging drywall. His favorite past times were hunting, fishing, watching westerns and spending time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Ann Lowry; his parents, Chester Lowry and Frances Dale Lowry; his sister, Frances Lowry Wilkins; his brother, Patrick (Buddy) Lowry; his niece, Javana Wilkins; his grandson, Kevin Gene Lowry; and his granddaughter, Melissa Lowry.
He is survived by his sister, Freida Lowry; his children, Kelvin Gene Lowry (Dorothy), Steve Lowry (Michelle), Christie Lowry Peck (Justin), and Brandy Lowry; seven grandchildren, Austin Peck, Hunter Lowry, Alyssa Peck, Matthew Lowry, Clayton Peck, Reagan Coram, and Breanna Washington; five great grandchildren, Cameron Brayboy, Tiane Brayboy, Noah Brayboy Kaleigh Robinson, and Kason Robinson; one great, great granddaughter, Ulani Melissa Brayboy; one great niece, Nakia Wilkins; and so many other family members.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at St. Anna Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
