Melissa Louise Hunter's Obituary
Melissa Louise “LaLa” Hunter, 39, of Partlow, passed away Sunday, March 24. 2024.
Melissa was born August 27, 1984 in Fairfax, VA. She was the most beautiful, sweetest little package of dynamite that had such a lovely smile, beautiful soul and was a bright light. She loved life and will be missed tremendously.
Melissa is survived her partner, Michael Cockrill; her mother and stepfather, Tina and Christopher Rutley; her siblings, Krystle Hunter, Dylan Rutley, and Brandon Rutley; three nieces; three nephews; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her animals that she loved as her children.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Hunter, who passed away May 15, 2008; her maternal and paternal grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.
A memorial gathering will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. Her family will celebrate her life at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 117 Lone Oak Road, Partlow, VA 22534.
