Melissa Ann Gibson's Obituary
Melissa Ann Gibson, 46, of Lignum, died Monday, August 15, 2022 at her home. She was born November, 29, 1975 in Charlottesville to Helen Gibson and the late Kenneth Gibson, Sr.
Melissa was a member of Litchfield Presbyterian Church. She was the most kind and generous person. She enjoyed driving, making homemade candy, and listening to music and watching movies. Melissa liked shopping and Nike was her favorite brand.
Melissa is survived by her mother; two children, Jamey Leeann Hickman and James Robert Hickman, Jr.; her siblings, Laura Lerner, Amy Estes, Robert Cornwell, Marie Miller, Jerry Gibson, and Jr. Gibson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Charles F. Gibson.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Archer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Remington Cemetery, 11910 Cemetery Rd, Remington, VA.
