Melinda Sue Sykes' Obituary
Melinda “Mindy” Sue Sykes, 31, of Manassas, passed away on May 27, 2010.
She was an employee of the Fair Oaks Orthopaedic Associates in Fairfax.
Survivors include her son, Nicholas Eugene Griffin; mother, Kathy Sykes Messerschmidt; three siblings, Jeremy Layton Sykes, Frances Roberta Sykes and Rebecca Anne Sykes; grandmother, Julia Frances Pixley; her significant other, Lloyd Eugene “Gene” Griffin and his father Eugene Griffin, Sr.
A visitation will be 2-4 & 6-9 PM on Tuesday, June 1st at the Found & Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Rd. Manassas, VA 20109. A visitation will be 6-8 PM on Wednesday, June 2nd at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, 213 Main St. Rainelle, WV 25962. Funeral services will be 2 PM on Thursday, June 3rd at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at the Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville, WV.
