Maynard Frank Wilson's Obituary
Maynard Frank Wilson, 88, of Kents Store, VA died Monday, December 23, 2019 at his residence. He was born on January 24, 1931 to the late Emmett and Margie Wilson.
Frank worked for Atlantic Research Corporation for 27 years in their Gainesville location and was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War.
He is survived by wife of 65 years, Sally Wright Wilson of Kents Store; four children, Eugene Wilson (Cindy), Larry Wilson (Carol), Wanda Sloper (Pete), and Scotty Wilson (Sherry); grandchildren, Michael, Angel (Kevin), Marsha (Clevert), Wayne (Anna), Craig, Eric, Keith, Travis, and Lisa; great grandchildren, Courtney, Austin, Colin, Luke, Kalie, J.W., Armando, Gabriella, Margarita, Kenneth, Jonathan, Scarlett, Emily, and Kaitlyn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe Wilson, Clyde Wilson, and Avery Wilson, and one sister, Vergie Shunk.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery, 502 E. Chandler Street, Culpeper with military honors provided by Culpeper VFW Post 2524.
