Maxye Arnhart Gunderson's Obituary
Maxye Arnhart Gunderson, 94, of Fairfax County, formerly of Mineral, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 22, 2019.
She is survived by her children, Ken Gunderson and his wife, Karen, of Lancaster, PA, Bill Gunderson and his husband, Carlos, of Alexandria, VA; and a daughter, Kathy Brownfield, and her husband, Tom, of Burke, VA. She was a beloved “Gigi” to five grandchildren, Kristen, Michael, William, Stephen and Dustin and four great-grandchildren, Gregory, Kayla, Lucas, and Theo.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Kirk O’Cliff Presbyterian Church, Mineral, Virginia. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Maxye’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2217 Princess Anne Street # 106-1F, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
