Maudie Ann Dodson's Obituary
Maudie Ann Dodson, age 64, of Culpeper went to be with the Lord, after a battle with cancer, on January 28, 2009. She was born December 24, 1944 to the late Harold & Annie McPeak.
Maudie is survived by her husband of 45 years, Wilson Dodson, Sr. She is also survived by her children, Deeni Jenkins and her husband, Marshall, Bridgette Ralls and her husband Tex, and Wison Dodson, Jr and his wife, Jennifer as well as her beautiful grandchildren, Christina Haywood, Matara Jenkins, John LaRue, Amber & Rachel Dodson, Heather & Shannon Osborn and Daisy & Frankie Woodley.
She is also survived by her sisters Catherine Hoffman and her husband, Charles and Linda McPeak, and her brothers, Ellis McPeak and his wife, Linda, Haven McPeak and his wife, Barbara and David McPeak and her many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Maudie was preceded in death by her brother, LeRoy McPeak.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend. She enjoyed bingo with her many friends, quilting and spending time with her family including her Chihuahua, Pnut. She will be missed very much by her husband, children and all, but we know she is now at peace and in a wonderful place with her momma.
The family will receive friends at on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Culpeper Moose Lodge in Culpeper VA.
