Maude Lorraine Williams' Obituary
Maude Lorrain Williams, 75, of Culpeper, died Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at her home. She was born April 14, 1947 in Washington, DC to the late James and Ruth Williams.
Maude graduated from Carver High School, Germanna Community College, and Liberty University, from which she earned her Bachelor’s in Religious Studies. She retired from Culpeper Hospital with over 40 years as a nurse. A member of Good Hope Baptist Church, she was an outgoing person who enjoyed volunteering with Girl Scouts, Sunday School, and vacation Bible school.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James Williams; two children, Katina Williams, and James “J.T.” Williams, II; grandchildren, Skkyie Williams, Kingston Williams, Alicia Hunter, and Brandon Hunter; great-grandchildren, Adan Bennett, Daniel Leake, Daniella Leake, James Williams, and Adrian Jeremiah Hunter; one brother, Randolph Waddy; and nieces and nephews, Ameisha White, Timothy Williams, and Theotis Williams.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Donald Williams and James H. “Buck” Williams.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA and Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 11 am till time of service at Good Hope Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Good Hope Baptist Church, 14123 Norman Road, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating.

Interment will follow in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Norman Rd.. Pallbearers will be Trevor Thompson, George Williams "Smokey", George Williams, Robert Coleman, Theotis Williams and Timmy Williams.
