Maude Tinsley's Obituary
Maude Amma Tinsley, 92, of Culpeper died Wednesday, December 08, 2010 at the Culpeper Baptist Retirement Community. She was born August 3, 1918 in Raccoon Ford, VA to the late John Edward and Mae Rhoades Tinsley.
Ms. Tinsley was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Arlington. She enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by three nephews, James Lohr, Roger Tinsley and Russell Hudson, her niece, Jane Wayland, and numerous grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Marie Lohr, Arline Hudson and Myrtle Hudson, one brother, Rhoades Tinsley, three nephews, Eddie Hudson, Robert Lohr and John Hudson and one niece, Jean Uliston.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Dr. Ted Fuson officiating. A one hour visitation will be held prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Culpeper Baptist Retirement Community Benevolent Fund, 12425 Village Loop, Culpeper, VA 22701.
