Matthew Kyle Dennis' Obituary
Matthew Kyle Dennis, 23, of Fredericksburg went to be with his Lord in heaven and joined his grandfather, July 22, 2007. He was born October 17, 1983 in Culpeper, VA to Robert Grayson Dennis, Jr. and Shelly Kidwell Johnson.
Matthew was full of life with an electrifying personality. He was employed as a personal trainer at Sport and Health Club and had recently moved to Gold’s Gym. Body building and mixed martial arts were his passion as well as a strong desire to become a part of the UFC world. He loved being with his family and going to Grandma Dennis’ to eat her home cooked meals. He had a love for the country and claimed he and his father could climb Old Rag Mountain, which he loved to hike, in an hour or less. His energetic style, quick jokes, and contagious smile made people light up. He had a child like sense of humor which he carried in his love of children. He had a mission to make the world healthy through eating and exercising. His knowledge and ability to motivate others had already put him on the path to achieving that.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Valerie Hicks, his sister Carissa Butler and her husband, Doug of Caroline, VA, two half sisters, Jade Dennis of Rappahannock and Amber Johnson of Fredericksburg, his step brother, Ben Johnson of Florida, one nephew, Gavin Butler and one niece, Kylyn Butler.
