Masako Ohtsuka Moore's Obituary
Masako Ohtsuka Moore, 77, of Culpeper died Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. She was born October 3, 1934 in Darien, China to the late Kyota and Kazuko Yasumoto Ohtsuka.
Mrs. Moore was an active supporter of local music organizations including the Amadeus Orchestra formerly of Great Falls, VA. She was a patron of the Kennedy Center and National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C. Mrs. Moore had a passion for painting and was an accomplished amateur painter. She was an avid worldwide traveler whether it was work related or for pleasure.
She is survived by her husband, Jay Michael Moore, one son, David Vincent Moore and his wife, Lisa of Rixeyville, one grandson, Kyle Tristan Moore, one sister, Tazuko Ohtsuka of Kita-Kamakura, Japan, and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family worldwide.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor David Purdue officiating. A two hour visitation will be held prior to the service.
