Marylin L. Helms' Obituary
Marylin Louise Helms, 78, of Culpeper died Friday, May 13, 2011 at Dogwood Village of Orange. She was born December 1, 1932 in Cumberland, MD to the late Robert Burke and Violet Engle Burke.
Mrs. Helms was very active in the Culpeper Presbyterian Church and the Culpeper Regional Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter, Barb Jenkins and her husband, Rick of Gordonsville, two sisters, Alice Campbell and her husband, Dick of Ohio and Colleen Powell of Ohio, two grandchildren, Keri Jo Shrout of Bealeton and Corey Davis of Remington, and three great grandchildren, Matthew, Casey Jo and Austin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ralph Helms, and two brothers, Paul Smith and Ron Burke.
The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Culpeper Presbyterian Church with Rev. Wayne Bernardo officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Culpeper Presbyterian Church, 215 S. Main St., Culpeper, VA 22701 &/or the CRH Auxiliary, 501 Sunset Lane, Culpeper, VA 22701.
