Mary K. Ervin's Obituary
Mary K. Ervin, 86, of Culpeper passed away at her residence on Sunday, May 13, 2007. She was born in Wythe County, Virginia on March 10, 1921. Her parents were the late James Marshall and Lillie Margaret Honaker.
She is survived by her children, John R. McAllister and wife, Christine of Raleigh, NC; Betty M. Hoyt and husband, Jerry of Culpeper; Florence M. Holt of Culpeper; and William P. Ervin of Culpeper; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Additional survivors include two sisters, Margaret A. Pierce and Frances E. Pierce, both of Valentines, VA, and two brothers, Reginald K. Honaker of Manassas, VA and David G. Honaker of McGaheysville, VA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by three brothers, Charles A. Honaker, James A. Honaker, and Howard C. Honaker, as well as her husband, George S. Ervin.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Rev. Steve Dodson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
