Mary Frazier Caroon's Obituary
Mary Frazier Caroon, 74, of Boston died Friday, February 20, 2009 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born on September 12, 1934 in Culpeper to Laura Durham Frazier and the late Carroll H. Frazier.
Mrs. Caroon attended New Salem Baptist Church and was a member of Business of Professional Women. She was longtime secretary of Culpeper Appliances, also known as Firestone.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, James Edwards Caroon, her step children, James E. Caroon, Jr. and his wife, Joy of Florida and Wayne Caroon and his wife, Nancy of Culpeper, two brothers, John W. Frazier and his wife, MaryAnn of La Plata, MD and James F. Frazier and his wife, Betty of Pfafftown, NC, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and her best friend, Teresa Fair of Culpeper.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Carroll Henry Frazier, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 22, 2009 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sandy Martin and Pastor Chad Whaley officiating.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery.
