Mary Francys Seward Guinn's Obituary
Mary Francys Seward Guinn, 88, of Culpeper died Wednesday, February 07, 2007 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. She was born September 3, 1918 to the late Richard and Michaux Ingram Seward.
Mrs. Guinn was a Sunday School teacher at Culpeper United Methodist Church. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the American Red Cross, volunteered as a Pink Lady at the Culpeper Regional Hospital and a lifetime member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by her two daughters, Claudia Beasley and her husband, Vincent of Locust Grove, and Sylvia Goff and her husband, Marvin of Newbern, West Virginia, four grandsons, five great grandchildren, two nieces, and four nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Inskeep Guinn, two sisters, and one grandson.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 11, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Culpeper Masonic Cemetery with Rev. John Farrar and Pastor Randy Orndorff officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the charity of your choice &/or Culpeper SPCA, 10144 James Monroe Hwy, Culpeper, VA 22701.
