Mary Ellen Coffey's Obituary
Mary Ellen Coffey, 50, of Culpeper, died on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born on January 3, 1959 in Fairfax, VA to Virginia Maley Dillon of Culpeper and the late Kenneth Barker Dillon.
Mary enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all babysitting. She loved children and children loved her. She was a friend to all she met and was a very devoted wife for 30 years.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Boyd Bob Thomas Coffey, step daughter, Melissa Brill and two step grandchildren, Ashley and Justin Dean.
Additional survivors include her siblings, Kenneth Dillon, Jr., Margaret Pelkey, Robert Dillon, Cathy Deane and David Dillon, numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Tiny.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother, James Frank Dillon and stepson, David Tommy Coffey.
