Mary Dorothy Condren's Obituary
Mary Dorothy Condren, 90 a native of Jersey City, NJ died Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mary was born February 26, 1918 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Pietro Guglieri and Margarita Poggiolli Guglieri. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Condren, three sisters, Frances Sartori, Rose Hammer, and Julia D’Agosta and three brothers, Joseph, Andrew and Bernard.
She was employed by the Radio Corporation of America, Television Division, for 35 years, retiring in 1981. During WWII, Mary worked as a welder for the American Can Company.
Mary is remembered most for her Christian Faith and love for children.
She is survived by her daughter, Evelyne Latham and her husband, Clifford, two grandchildren, Heather O’Connell and Ryan Willard and her husband, Clayton and two great grandchildren, Cyrus and Brianna.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701 with Rev. Phillip Bailey officiating.
A private graveside service will take place in Etlan Cemetery at a later time.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s name to the Washington Baptist Church Bible Club Ministry, PO Box 209 Washington, VA 22747 and/or Hospice of the Rapidan, PO Box 1715, Culpeper, VA 22701.
