Mary Wright's Obituary
Mary Virginia Wright, 91, of Fredericksburg passed away Friday, May 22, 2009 at Carriage Hill Nursing Home.
She was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church.
Mary is survived by a son, George K. Wright and his wife, Nancy of Daytona, FL; a daughter, Mary Elaine Newton and her husband James of Sarasota, FL; her grandchildren Pam, Ray and Kathy Newton, all of Sarasota, FL; her greatgrandchildren Kyle, Kaleigh and Landon Newton also of Sarasota, FL; a devoted extended family member, Lila Newton Pugh and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wright and her parents, George and Julia Johnson.
Mary’s family will receive friends Friday May 29, 2009 from 9:00-10:00am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service celebrating Mary’s life will be held Friday, May 29, 2009 at 10:00 am at the funeral chapel. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
