Mary Ann Decatur Staats' Obituary
Mary Ann Decatur Staats, 46, of Stafford County passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011 at her home.
She is survived by a daughter, Erika E. Salyers and her husband, Derek; her loving companion, William Conner, Jr. and a sister, Bridgitte Garrett and her husband, Chris, all of Stafford; three grandchildren, Xander, Kira and Mason and numerous nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Dudley and Mary Decatur and her sister, Linda Stanley.
Mary’s family will receive friends Friday, September 23, 2011 from 10:00-11:00am at Salem United Methodist Church with a funeral service to be held at 11:00am with Pastor Lonnie Salyers officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mary’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society, c/o Trudy Clifton, 113 Tall Pines Avenue, Locust Grove, VA 22508.
