Mary Ellen Riddle's Obituary
Mary Ellen Riddle, 64, of Culpeper went to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 26, 2014. She was born on February 7, 1950 to Arthur and Mary Brown Fincham in Culpeper, VA.
Mary was born and raised in Culpeper and moved to Richmond for her job as a corrections officer, where she worked for 18 years. She moved back to Culpeper in 1999, where she was an active member of Family Community Church. Mary enjoyed scrapbooking and was a lover of animals.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Fincham; her daughter, Sara Riddle; a grandson: Timothy Riddle; two brothers: Jeffrey Fincham, and David Fincham and his wife Kim; two sisters: Renee Aylor, and Diane Weakley and her husband Henry; a number of nieces and nephews, and a very close friend, Edith Andrews.
Mary is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Fincham.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Family Community Church, 120 Chestnut Drive, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Randy Albritton officiating. A one hour visitation will be held prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
