So very sorry for your loss. Your mom was also a great pediatric nurse 41 years ago when my children were born. She was willing to explain things to me no one else bothered to explain, and didn't mind my church connection to call her at home. Now that was a good nurse!

I have had the privilege of knowing and loving Mrs. Raymond for many years, getting to know her soon after my beloved mother died in 1995. She filled a very special place in my heart, as a great friend and substitute mom. I loved her stories of her childhood and years as a young wife and mother- always told with warmth and wit. The Raymond and Cass families shared her with me so generously. I rejoice that she is at peace now, with her beloved family. Thank you, Meg and Mollie, for letting me love her.

Mollie and Meg, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mother and father were such a part of some of my favorite memories. They always opened their home to the troop of girls invading for slumber parties and made us feel like it was our home also. I know you will miss their presence here on earth, but know that they are once again together with Jon also. Know that they are still with you in spirit and will continue to be. My prayers continue for both of you and your whole family in the days and weeks to come.

My husband, Bill, and I have known your mom for over 45 years. Bill used to be in a carpool with Larry and Dick Barnett when they all worked at Dahlgren. Jackie worked at MWH with my late brother, Lewis Barrett. He was impressed with her warmth and caring spirit. She was a great nurse, and a great friend. What a special lady! We are sorry for your great loss, but we rejoice that Larry and Jackie and Jon are together again. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jacquie was so much to our family, it's hard to enumerate the ways. She loved our kids and they adored her. Before she had her own grandchildren, our children played that role for her.
She created and sewed their first Halloween costumes. Clowns and princesses and many others.
Jacquie constantly saved the day for my husband when they worked together. They worked closely and communicated perfectly. She used to tell me I needed to let her "pencil me in" for a picnic lunch in my husband's office. She was a believer in family togetherness. Our family loves Jacquie and will forever remember her as a poignant part of our unit for many years.
We have remained connected through our children, hers and mine.
