Mary Paulson's Obituary
Mary Gouldman Paulson, 88, of Spotsylvania County died Thursday, February 1, 2007 at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was born in Fredericksburg to the late Judge and Mary Howdershelt.
Mary is survived by her son Kenneth Rankin of Mechanicsville, VA; eight grandchildren, Wanda, Donald and Ronald Wichmann, Jo Ann Hanson, Tim, Edward, Michelle and Sherry Rankin and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur Jennings Paulson, Jr.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 4, 2007 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation service, corner of Courthouse Road and Southpoint Parkway. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 5, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bette Goglia officiating. Inurnment will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Mary Washington Hospice, 5012 Southpoint Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA 22407 or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
