Mary May O'Shaughnessy's Obituary
Mary May O’Shaughnessy, 91, of Amissville, passed away peacefully on Friday December 5, 2025, at home with her loving family beside her. She was born on September 20, 1934, in England and was daughter of the late Beatrice Dawe and Henry Buckley.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Richard O’Shaughnessy Sr. and her son Timothy O’Shaughnessy.
Mary loved watching football and most importantly her large family and taking care of her animals.
She is survived by her children, her son, Richard O’Shaughnessy Jr. of Korea and daughter, Leslie Bremigan of Amissville, six grandchildren, Patrick O’Shaughnessy, Kevin O’Shaughnessy, Ayden O’Shaughnessy, Riley O’Shaughnessy, Mary Holmes, Dawn Shores and Robert Bremigan and wife, Shawnel Bremigan; and eight great-grandchildren, Jordain Meadows, Tyler Meadows, Michael Shores, Brandon Shores, Alyson Shores, Ayden Bremigan, Hailey Bremigan and Logan Bremigan.
She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 12 p.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 114 E. Edmondson St, Culpeper, VA.
Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery, 305 US Ave, Culpeper, VA.
