Mary Elizabeth Machotka's Obituary
Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Machotka, 82, of Spotsylvania County passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was co-owner and operator with her husband of Bill & Bud Signs in Fredericksburg.
Mary is survived by three sons, James Hayden, Sr. of Bedford County, VA, Billy Machotka of South Carolina and Frank Machotka and his wife, Tammy of Front Royal; three daughters, Angel Robinson and her husband, Dennis of Tappahannock, Cathi Graninger and her husband, Al of Spotsylvania and Mia Hannahs and her husband, David of Knoxville, TN; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Machotka; a son, Donald Hayden and her parents, Sidney and Marietta Heselton.
Mary’s family will receive friends Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Robinson, Al Graninger, Chris Robinson, David Hannahs, Tyler Hannahs and Rob Harder.
