Mary Ellen Lyons' Obituary
Mary Ellen Lyon,age 84, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Emeritus of Manassas, VA.
She was the beloved widow of Chester A. Lyons, retired USMC T/SGT. Aunt of Timothy (Barbara) Riley and family of Mt. Airy, MD., Constance Riley (Frank Sleeman) of Geneva, FL. She is also survived by good friends Pat Cole, Vickie Stidham, Connie Powell and many other friends.
In her earlier years she was very active in her church and community services. For over 20 years she was a congressional secretary. She also loved her many dogs and cats throughout her life.
Memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church of Alexandria (Disciples of Christ), 2723 King St., Alexandria, VA 22302.
A graveside service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
